This product was created to give students practice with adding fractions with unlike denominators with hints on the steps needed.
There are 23 problems in all. 11 problems require that only one of the fractions needs to be multiplied by a form of one to obtain the common denominator. 12 problems require that both of the fractions have to be multiplied by a form of one to obtain the common denominator.
The product is in the form of a table with the the column headings describing each step. One problem of each type is completed for the student.
