This product includes scaffolded notes to introduce two different ways to add & subtract mixed numbers.
- Adding/subtracting the whole numbers then the fractions, converting if necessary.
- Converting both to improper fractions, adding/ subtracting, and then converting back to mixed numbers.
A teacher guide page is also included to help facilitate instruction.
