This is a double-sided worksheet that covers adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing radicals.
There are 12 questions on the front where the student needs to add or subtract. Four questions involve simplifying the radicals before adding or subtracting and one question involves adding similar cube roots. Question #13 gives the student a quadratic equation and asks them to solve using the quadratic formula. They will need to simplify the radical to find the final answer.
On the back, there are 16 questions involving multiplying or dividing radicals. In order to divide, they will need to rationalize the denominator. All questions should be simplified after multiplying and dividing. Finally, the last two questions ask the student to find the missing side length of a right triangle by using the pythagorean theorem. They will need to simplify the radical to get the final answer. This worksheet could be used over several days as homework depending upon how many concepts you are covering per day. 31 questions total. Key included.
