Students will learn that repeating decimals have denominators of 9, 99, 999, etc. while reinforcing adding positive and negative decimals. Students are then asked to convert from decimal to mixed number form. In part 3 students practice converting from mixed numbers to improper fractions. In part 4, students are asked to draw conclusions about rounding repeating decimals. Other extenuating questions are included to deepen students understandings and conceptual knowledge. An advanced learner is asked to provide context for the practice problems in part 5.
