What educators are saying

Simple but fun activity. We used it to decorate the blank space on my huge bulletin board around Christmas and the kids liked getting to color them.
My students loved working on the ornaments, they were busy the whole time! Love the variety of problems!!!

Description

Students add, subtract and multiply decimals on holiday themed math ornaments in these festive activities that double as Christmas classroom décor. The ornaments are differentiated so that every student can work to his or her own ability.

This download includes 120 math pennants shaped like holiday ornaments. 40 have decimal addition problems, 40 have decimal subtraction problems and 40 have decimal multiplication problems. Students can decorate their ornaments with bows and holly for the holidays.

Each activity also includes 4 blanks for your own decimal operation problems. Optional student answer sheets and answer keys are included.

Once an ornament is complete, it can be hung along a string in your classroom to show the world that, "Hey, we know decimals!"
