In this self-checking activity, students pick a card and solve the addition equation written on the card. This can be played as a partner game or as an individual center or math choice game. Each card has the problem number listed so that students can look up each card's answer on the answer key. This game is fun played in partners with a game board. One partner takes a turn rolling the one dice. Both partners solve the problem and compare answers. Then, they look up the answer on the answer key. If the partner who rolled the dice answered the problem correctly, he or she moves forward on the game board.
