Before students learn algorithms for adding fractions with different denominators, extensive hands-on experiences help them build an understanding of the process. These task cards are designed to be used with fraction tiles, allowing students to freely explore with the tiles. If you don't have fraction tiles, printable fraction tiles are included in this file, in both color and black & white.
