Product Description
This is a three lesson bundle. In lesson one, students use sheet music (included) to add up the notes to get one for each measure. For example a measure with four quarter notes would look like this: 1/4+ 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 = 1. In lesson two, students will explore comparing fractions by playing different notes on the piano and determining which is longer and shorter. For example, a quarter note is shorter than a half note so 1/4 is less than 1/2. The third lesson has students compose a musical composition on glasses filled with various amounts of water to equal one.
