In this activity students will begin by completing challenging math questions in order to build a water slide! They have to figure out how much of each material they will need to build a slide, you can choose whether it is going to be a water slide or a speed slide!
- Reading and Writing Decimal Numbers

- Order of Operations.

After the students complete the math questions they begin to collect and measure how much of each material they need.
Once all materials are measured and collected the students will work together in a team to construct a water or speed slide.
This is a super fun math, engineering, and teamwork activity that is thoroughly enjoyed by 5th graders.
