Addition and Subtraction Game - Button Jars

Your students will love practicing counting, addition, and subtraction with these button jars! This product includes everything you need to set up this fun game in your classroom! Jars are labeled and filled with different numbers of button for students to use in their own equations. This hands on game is a great way to introduce or practice these important skills.

Directions
Students randomly grab two cards and place them on either the addition or subtraction game board. Each jar gets counted and the total is either added or subtracted. A white board marker can be used to write the total on the last jar on the game board. Finish each equation by filling in the jars on the included worksheet.

Variation of game
There are so many different ways you can use this game so that students at every level can be included!
•Accelerated students can use the subtraction board
•Students who are right on track can play the addition game board
•Students struggling with math can count buttons in each jar or practice putting the numbers in the correct order.
