I created these adorable task cards to help my students review adding and subtracting improper fractions. What I like about this set is that I was able to utilize two skills: adding and subtracting improper fractions and renaming improper fractions into mixed numbers. Of course, it's completely your choice if you'd like your students to leave their answer as an improper fraction or as a mixed number.
I personally used these in my math centers. These would also work great during small group, whole group, as an intervention, or as a scoot game! The possibilities are endless.
- A total of 24 task cards
- Printer friendlier option
- Answer Key
- Recording Sheet
- Student directions (2 options depending on if you want your students to leave their answer as an improper fraction or a mixed fraction)
I hope you and your students find these task cards as helpful as my class and I did.
