This is a collaborative activity, designed for students to complete in pairs. There are 12 table tents, each with two problems. The tents should be folded in half, so that they can be stood up between two students, with one problem facing each student. The two problems on each side of tent are different, but address a similar concept/type of problem. Each side also includes the answer to the partner's problem, so the students can check one another, and work together if an incorrect answer is found. The students really enjoy this collaboration, and it is a great way to incorporate independent and collaborative practice in the same activity.
