Students can practice their addition and subtractions skills using the arrow way. In this strategy, students break up the second number into two easier to add or subtract numbers. The problems are all two digit addition or subtraction. This method is specifically taught in Engage New York and Eureka Math, but can be used to supplement any math instruction.
