This power point defines additive inverse and zero pair, takes students through the process of adding integers using the zero pair method, using a number line, and using the difference method.
The lesson uses visual examples and guided practice for both the zero pair and number line methods. This lesson is aligned with the CCSS (Math). The ppt also has guided and independent practice.
