Your students can practice their addition facts using addends 0-10, while incorporating some fine motor skills as well. Simply copy the pages included and follow the simple direction page so you know where to cut and where to fold. Copy pages onto tag board so students can manipulate the paper easily. Look at the addition fact in the third box of each strip and punch the correct number of holes in each box for each addend. Answer the problem in the final box on the strip. Fold it backwards. Quiz another friend to see if he/she comes out with the correct answer and he/she can check by folding the last flap forward.
This is a perfect activity for math centers, parent volunteers, or for early finishers. My students love anything that has to do with the hole punch and I bet yours will enjoy it as well.
