Addition Activities with and without Regrouping Pattern Block Designs are great for practicing single and double digit addition. Edit the value of the shape to differentiate and create multiple versions of the same page so students can practice adding with regrouping or without regrouping--perfect for differentiating for different math ability levels. Once you edit the value of a shape on the pattern block design, it will autofill all of the numbers on each page so you have 26 (letters A-Z) different activities for that. One group of students can be working on addition with regrouping, another without, and another group can be working on adding tens, or single digit addition within 20. The great part about this resource is that it's autofill editable, so you can quickly make addition activities with pattern blocks for any grade level you work with.
