This simple game reinforces the Make Ten basic addition facts e.g. 6+4 or 3+7. Students play the game in pairs and compete to get three of their counters on the game-board in a row. To play they select a card and place their counter on a space on the game-board that has the number that will add to the number on their chosen card that will make a total of 10. This game contains two sets of cards for 2 variations. One uses ten frames to represent the numbers where students can see the number of missing dots to make ten and the other set uses numbers so they can use basic fact knowledge to think of the number needed.
