This mini book is perfect for helping your students to master basic facts and develop automaticity and fluency when solving simple mental math problems.
It is low prep A5 mini book (automatically 2 per page when printed) is perfect for homework, morning work, warm ups or as a fast finisher booklet.
2 levels of the addition “fast fact” mini book are included in this pack.
Level 1: 10 number sentences per day. Addends between 1 – 10.
Level 2: 14-15 number sentences per day. Addends between 1 – 25.
Both levels have
• Mixed basic facts – 4 weeks (4 days per week)
• Doubles - 4 weeks
• Near doubles – 2 weeks
• Turn Around Facts – 2 weeks
• Similar facts (3 + 2 / 13 + 2) - 2 weeks, and
•1 week of +1, + 2, + 3 to + 10.
A table is included at the top of each page for students to time themselves and record their times each day, aiming to get progressively quicker throughout the week. Or for students who do not wish to do this as a timed activity, to simply record scores or check off that this task has been completed each day.
A version is included with days of the week (Monday - Thursday) OR an option without days of the week included.
