Are you trying to find fun games or math centers for your students to play that helps them learn how to problem solve? Well, this game is for you. This game was designed to help reinforce problem solving skills using addition. Students will read a story problem and use a manipulative to solve. There are several different combinations of numbers that students can generate different equations. The addends range from +2 to +9 from the 2s to 15s. There are bear pieces at the end to use if you do not have bear counters, and a tree to use as a work mat. A white board or piece of paper can be used by students to write the addition sentences. If the work mat is not laminated, then your students can use a white board marker and eraser to write the addition sentence on the work mark. I hope you and your students enjoy this game as much as mine have!
