I love this game & my students do, too! I am happy to edit and resend to you if there's something you'd like tailored to your class' needs or theme! This simple game keeps my firsties busy for around 30 minutes until January. It's a strong reinforcement for subitizing (seeing numbers quickly on a dice) and doubles addition. Works very well for groups of three also as long as you have three colored markers.
Directions: Roll one die. Double the number and place your colored marker on that number. Take turns with one or two partners. You “own” the space once you have two markers on the same space. You can say “bump” and bump someone’s marker off if there is only one marker holding the spot. Winner is who “owns” the most spaces when they are all covered.
