This game is a great way for students to practice their math facts. There are 3 students in a group. The brain, the caller, and the calculator. The caller with call out a fact. (I have my students use flash cards or fact triangles to generate a fact). Once the fact is called, the brain will answer the fact. The calculator will also be typing the problem the caller called out into the calculator. The calculator must enter the whole fact in the calculator even if they know they answer! The goal is for the brain to beat the calculator.
I use this triangle so the students can keep track of what "job" they will be doing. I have my students rotate jobs after doing 2 facts, but you can easily accommodate to what you think they will be able to handle.
This is the number one game played in my classroom when students have extra time.
