Addition Locomotion Game-This game is to be played outside. You will need cones to put the cards under. Each card has an addition problem. Pair students up to go to each cone. Students will need to write and solve each addition problem before moving on to the next card. You do not have to use all of the cards. I made extra so that my students could work with another class to do this activity. At the bottom of the card it has a physical activity that the students must do to go to the next card. After completing the game have the students check their work. Ways that I have differentiated the game: (1)Provide the students who have difficulty writing the problems with a copy of the cards to complete once they reach the card they write the answer on their paper. (2) Before laminating the cards I have drawn touch points on the cards to help those students who use touch points. The file also contains answer cards. Created by Mary Griffith.
