Number Bonds can be fun in game format!
We made a simple matching game using number bonds.
Pot of Gold Addition Number Bond Matching Game 0-10
How to play:
Print, Laminate, and cut out cards
Give a child a game board, place all of the pot of gold number or number bond rainbow cards into a hat, bag, cup or container of your choice.
Have the student pick a card out of the container and place it on the matching game board piece. If they pick a leprechaun or gold coin card from the hat they have to put all of their pieces back into the bag and start over.
Game 2: Matching Game: Cut out ALL of the pieces and have the children play a matching game, when they find a pair they keep it.
We use this for small group, and centers once they get the hang of it they can do it independently! We love that!!
Any of the pages can be used as game boards. You can decide if you want your students to play a game board in sequential order or in a mixed up order to differentiate instruction.
Our RtI kids really need this kind of simple fun game activity to
understand the concept.
