Students use two different colored cubes or other math manipulatives and practice the ways to make numbers 1-15 making addition sentences. I have the students manipulate the two different colored cubes and then record their findings with two different colored crayons on their activity sheet and fill in the way they discovered to make the given number. You can use this in whole group lessons or small group math instruction. I hope this helps your students with decomposing and composing math addition skills. Enjoy!
