Here are a set of addition question cards for use with your class.
There are 4 levels of difficulty here so you can differentiate according to your class needs:
Pages 3-4: Simple questions with Tens and Ones + Ones working with numbers up to 30.
Pages 5-6: Simple questions with Tens and Ones + Ones working with numbers up to 50.
Pages 7-8: A mixture of Tens and Ones + Ones and Tens and Ones + Tens and Ones working with numbers up to 100.
Pages 9-10: Trickier questions with Tens and Ones +Tens and Ones working with numbers up to 100 and some answers crossing the 100s barrier.
Most of the questions in this packet are designed to practice the skill of exchanging Ones for Tens when adding using a Place Value Frame and Place Value apparatus such as Dienes.
Print onto card or print, laminate and cut up so children can choose the questions they work from.
Mix in some blank cards to their sets and ask them to generate their own questions of they choose one of these or design a question for their friend!
