Get your students up and moving while they practice addition skills. They will love this additional practice!
Here's how it works. Cards need to be placed around the classroom with tape. Students scan one of QR codes, this will give them the problem. The code will say "78 + 64 = _____." They will walk around the classroom for the card that has 142 on the left. Then, they will scan the next QR code to answer the next problem on the scavenger hunt. All of the levels will have problems that require students to regroup. So much fun!
Included in this document:
Set 1 - adding 2 digit numbers
Set 2 - adding 3 digit numbers
Set 3 - adding 4 digit numbers
Student Response Sheet
Student Work Space
This can be used as review, additional practice, or even a pre- or post test. The three levels are easy to implement to extend some students and give your lower math kids the extra practice that they need.
** You will need to make sure you have mobile devices or tablets to use in your classroom to use these cards. I downloaded the app QRReader to scan the cards on the devices, you do not need the internet just the app. There are many free QR Reading apps out there.
Thanks so much for viewing, I hope it can help in your classroom.
