Created for Second graders to practice adding and creating sums close to 100. Students select two numbers, build the numbers, regroup when necessary, and discover ways to make 100. This station is easily modified for students to practicing creating sums higher than 100 or less than 100.
The number cards have seahorse backs and can be printed as a two sided document. If you, scroll down you can print the number cards without backs as a one sided document.
The only thing I would recommend, is that you use base ten blocks with this station. If you do not have base ten blocks, you can have students draw their number values as sticks for tens, dots for ones, and boxes for hundreds.
