Common Core Math - Operations of Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division - Fun Game
Have fun practicing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts with your students in a fun game setting using a pair of dice. This download includes 6 different game boards which can be used to copy repeatedly since each new game becomes a new adventure. Groups of students will take turn rolling a pair of dice to either generate a sum from the two numbers on the dice, generate a difference that results from the largest number on one die minus the smaller number, generate a product, or generate a quotient. As a student announces an answer to the sum or difference of the dice, the other students in the group must agree for the answer to be viewed as correct. If a correct answer was given, the student who rolled the dice will color in a square on the game board that corresponds to the answer that was correct for the sum or difference. When an open square does not exist for the student to color, play simply continues with the next student. Play can continue until the entire game board is covered or until the teacher announces time for the game to end. The student with the most colored squares in the end is declared the winner.
