These 440 task cards were designed to help students learn their addition facts through words problems while focusing on differentiation.

These task cards present the same problem in four different ways. I recommend grouping the students by four, if possible.

Card # 1--- Pictures and numbers are included in the first task card: 1 + 1 = __________

Card # 2---No pictures, but numbers are included in the second task card: 1 + 1 = ________

Cards # 3---No pictures and numbers are spelled out in words: One + one = ___________

Card # 4 ---No pictures, numbers are spelled out in words. Students are provided with a simple sentence: One and one is ________

All problems include multiple choice answers.

These cards were designed for 1st and 2nd grades; however, these cards are excellent for any students struggling with addition.
