These number cards and worksheets provide Kindergarten and First Grade students experience with adding numbers within 20. Ten-frames provided show each possible combination of addends needed to reach sums up to 20. Print these out as mini-reference posters or laminate for use in games/activities.
We have include two sets of cards. The first set has words and ten frames. The second set has numbers, symbols (equal sign/addition), and ten frames. This is a great way to get your students to start making sense of addition instead of just memorizing facts. Blank cards are included so that students can make their own fact sets. Blank worksheets are included so that students can fill out the ten frames to make the desired sum and look for patterns between the addends and sums. You can even have the students create story problems for the cards! These cards have so many uses, but the best part is that there is a visual representation for each sum/addend set.
Blank worksheets are great for use as a center, to send home as homework, to provide guided instruction with a document camera, and much more!
142 pages of resources to show and practice creating addition fact families which can be used to create word problems for math journals or in combination with manipulatives (such as two-color counters) to reinforce addition skills.
These cards are perfect for meeting the needs of many types of learners.

How to earn TPT Credits:
"Earn TpT Credits for purchases on TpT. You get one TpT Credit for every $ you spend on TpT. Thing is, you only get the Credits after you Provide Feedback -- both a fair rating and a fair comment -- on the items that you purchase. We will round up for you, too! If you provide fair feedback on a $4.75 item, you will earn 5 credits. Every 100 Credits is worth $5 that you can apply towards future TpT purchases, but there is no need to wait until you have 100 to redeem them. 50 credits is worth $2.50, for example."--TPT Credits Page
