-51 write the room cards for addition facts 0-10 with differentiated lower half to allow support for your struggling learners
-two recording sheets for write the room addition facts
Ideas for Use:
-You can either choose a sum to work on, or choose a mixture of addition problems to suit your needs. You can choose to use 10 cards and one recording sheet, or to use 20 cards and copy the recording sheets front to back.
-Laminate and cut out the addition cards to use as a write the room activity. Then, fold along the dotted line in the middle of the card so that both printed sides are showing.
-Hang the cards by putting a piece of tape on the top edge of the section showing the addition problem. Allow the folded part to stay behind the addition problem. This will allow for students who need more support (and built in differentiation) to flip the ten frame section down and count the dots in order to solve the problem.
-The student then records the addition problem as well as the sum on their recording sheet.
