This Halloween-themed card game promotes addition and subtraction fact fluency.
This fun, Halloween-themed game engages students with math facts. What student doesn’t love a game, especially a thematic one?
Here's how to play. Stack the playing cards or place them in a container. Students select a card, then give the answer. This continues until a “Trick or Treat!” card is pulled -- then all the cards go back into the container.
Students can play with facts through 10 or facts through 20.
This game is perfect for centers, small groups, interventions, etc. Also, consider splitting the class into cooperative groups and playing simultaneously.
You'll get 407 math fact cards, "Trick or Treat" cards, and a mini-poster for student directions.
Pages 4-18 contain addition and subtraction through 10. Pages 19-48 contain addition and subtraction from 11 through 20.
