Yes, math can be fun for everyone! This lesson is especially for those who need to move to learn. Children with ADHD and SPD can become easily frustrated with worksheets, and I have found this kinesthetic approach to be very successful especially with the foundations of mathematics. Four sets of flashcards for addition and subtraction from 0-20 provide interactive involvement from both teacher and students. Also included are game variation instructions, how to increase difficulty as students master the facts, and suggestions for differentiation.
Once you set this game up, it can be played over and over again. Perfect to include as a bell ringer, on a rainy day for indoor recess, or any time your kids need to get the wiggles out. My students love it!
Tip: additional material required is a wide roll of painter's or masking tape.
