Addition and Subtraction: Bubble Gum Numbers
Bubble Gum Numbers is a fun, hands-on way to work to master basic math facts.
Students begin by solving the math facts in on the gumballs. Next, they color the gumballs that add up to the numbers on the boy’s shirt and the top of the gumball machine. All other equations are written on the column on the right hand side of the page. There will be a total of 5 gumballs that do not add up to the given number.
Addition and Subtraction: True or False
True or False is a fun, hands-on way to work to master basic math facts.
*Students cut and paste the answers under the correct column (true or false).
Each page will focus on one number or a review of several numbers. There will be 5 true and 5 false equations.
Addition and Subtraction: Searches
Searches are a FUN and effective way for students to work on mastering their basic facts!
*Each page focuses on one number to be added or a mixed review of several numbers.
*Students begin by solving the problems on the problem list.
*Next, students find the addition or subtraction problems in the addition/subtraction search. When they find the problem, they circle/highlight it and add a + or - and = sign.
*Once they find the addition or subtraction problem, they check off the box.

*First, students solve the problems on the page.
*After that, students use the color code to color the picture according to the sum or difference.

*Each page focuses on a specific addend and/or a review.
*Roll a die and solve a problem in that column. Race to the top to see who wins 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Addition and Subtraction Timed Tests are a great way for students to show progress with math fact fluency. This packet offers
3 different levels of tests:
*25 problems (dog)
*50 problems (fox)
*The goal is to improve speed and accuracy. Each page has a place to record the time and score for the test.
