These Scoot cards are a fun and engaging way for students to practice the skills and concepts you are teaching!
I like to print these on cardstock, cut and tape them in various locations around the classroom. Students then walk around to each card with their recording sheet, solve the problem and record their work/answer. My students LOVE to move around, solve them in whatever order they want and accomplish all 16 of them!
These cards are also great for differentiation because they are color-coded, so you can have different kids working on different colors based on what their skill level is. Here is the breakdown:
Yellow: 2-digit addition only
Orange: 2-digit subtraction only
Pink: 2-digit mixed addition and subtraction
Teal: 3-digit addition only
Purple: 3-digit subtraction only
Green: 3-digit mixed addition and subtraction only
**Note: Each set of Scoot cards, regardless of color, will have some problems that require regrouping/borrowing and some problems that will not.
Students can use the same recording sheet no matter which color they are working on, because each set as the same number of problems. If you wish, you can have the students write the name of the color they are working on at the top.
Each set also includes an answer sheet for you for easy grading!
