Addition and Subtraction Spring Story Mats

Have your students been working on addition and subtraction and are ready to begin addition and subtraction stories? These Spring themed Addition and Subtraction themed Story Mats will help your little ones practice telling and making addition and subtraction stories. Students will spin the spinners to determine which numbers they will be using in their story problem. There is a space at the bottom for filling in the numbers in their story problem. They can act out the story and read the story problem when they are finished. There are so many different number combinations, these story mats can be used again and again!

Though I designed these to be used with the seasonal erasers that you can purchase at Target, I have also included cut outs of the different pieces you will need. You could also use colored cubes as well.

There are 6 different story mats- 3 practice addition and 3 practice subtraction. There are also several spinners for different purposes for your students to use- choose the ones that work best for your students!
