### Description

Time to have some fun in the sun with these engaging addition and subtraction word problem with teen numbers task cards! This is aligned with first grade standards. I've also used it with my second graders as review!

What's included?

There are 3 activities included:

Activity #1: Addition and Subtraction Word Problems

There are 16 task cards with basic addition and subtraction word problems.

Activity #2: Too Much Information Word Problems

There are 16 task cards. Each card has additional information that is not needed to solve the word problem. It encourages students to focus on what information is important to solve the problem. I always tell my class, "Don't Get Tricked!"

This activity has 12 task cards. The students will look at the picture and match it to a 3 digit addition problem. Another option would be to give them the card and they write their own addition sentence. For early finishers (and we all have them) the students will be able to use the task cards to write their own word problems.

Plus this unit comes with 11 printables that can be used as homework or in small group instruction. All the printables practice and re-enforce the same skills as the activities.

All the activities come with their own recording sheet/s and answer keys!
