Here's an engaging way to have students problem solve equations using mulitples of ten. Once they solve three problems per card, they will circle the greatest or least answer within the three equations. There's two sets of activities here. Common Core standards are included.
Just print cards onto cardstock. Laminate . Cut the cards into rows, three equations per row.
Use the corresponding worksheet for student product/assessment.
Answer sheets are provided.
Use part or all of the cards in the following ways.
Place cards under a document camera for whole group presentation. Great for the Gradual Release Model.
Place in math center.
Use in small groups.
Write the Room
It will be great practice, modeled or independently.
