This is a powerpoint containing 13 slides that reviews the standards listed at the bottom (encompassing +/- word problems up to 200--some with extra info added for challenge; money word problems asking students to find the missing coins[to add up to a certain amount under $1] and money word problems asking students to solve and figure out if a person would have enough money to make a purchase).
This can be used to review particular concepts over multiple days!!! I only use 3-4 slides in a 45 minute window. That involves me reading it, using guided practice as a class on one, and then students doing the others on their own with whole class review at the end of each problem to review. I WOULD SPREAD THE PP OUT AND NOT DO IT ALL IN ONE DAY as it involves multiple concepts.
I leave bottom part of slide blank so we can work through them on board.
-The first 4 slides are +/- word problems where they have to figure out if they add or subtract to get the answer (and weed out any extra info).
-2 require students to figure out how much money they have based on the coins given.
-2 involve finding a given amount and students having to figure out how many of each coin is needed (know these problems can have more than one correct response).
-2 involve figuring out if you have enough money to make a purchase.
-1 is a money word problem (like the first 4), but involves money.
-Last slide has answers for your reference.
