This is an addition unit for you Kindergarten classroom!
The focus is on addition to 10 using a variety of strategies.

It includes:

• 9 day lesson plans with corresponding curriculum expectations from The Ontario Kindergarten Program, 2016

p. 2-8: Addition Mat (Colour and B&W)
p. 9: I Can Add Numbers! Half Page Recording Sheet
p. 10-11: Play Dough Addition Mat (Colour and B&W)

p. 12-29: Addition Play Dough Mats (Addition to 10)

p. 30-32: Add with a Number Line Mat (Colour and B&W)

p. 33-44: Addition cards (sums to 10) to use with the addition mats on page 2-13

p. 46-47: Ten-Frame Addition Puzzle Pieces & Recording Sheet

p.48-56: Counting Bear & Play Dough Roll & Add Centres: Roll the number dice & the colour dice. Put that many play dough balls/bears in that colour on the addition mat. Repeat. Add the 2 groups together. Write the number sentence at the bottom with a wipe erase marker.

p. 57-58: Domino Addition Wipe Erase Sheets (Colour and B&W)

p. 59-60: My Book of Domino Addition (Copy page 3 as many times as you want {I did 3} and then put the cover page on top and copy the entire booklet. Slice with a paper cutter on the line, staple the end and set out with dominos.)
