Practice addition to 20! These activities are fun, low-prep an are great for stations, whole class practice, or small group work!
Spin and Color: Two Ways to Play!
-Independent: With this play style, students can play independently. The student will spin the two spinners, add the numbers together, and color the sum.
-Partner: In this game, each student will have his or her own spin and color mat. Students will take turns spinning two spinners, adding the numbers together, and coloring in the sum on their own papers. The student to color in his or her sheet first is the winner!
Students can play this game in groups of 2-4. The first student spins two spinners, adds the numbers together, and covers the sum with a counter. If another player has only one counter on the space, you can “bump” him or her off. If there are two markers on the space, it is locked and cannot be bumped off. The player with the most spaces covered at the end is the winner!
