Students will be instantly engaged in this hands on center activity! Play Dough Task Cards allow students to work with manipulative without teachers spending time gathering and changing out materials at the end of each chapter. They are also amazing for differentiation. Students working on different concepts can use the same recording sheets and manipulatives while changing out the question cards. Of course, there is also a sensory and fine motor bonus when students are working with play dough!
Print the either the full color or black and white version of the task cards. Laminate them and either place them in a tub or on a binder ring. Gather a few cans of play dough and a few plastic play knives if desired.
Students will use the cards to solve each problem filling in the ten frames with play dough pieces. They can also fill out the recording sheet to show their work.
