This is a hands on animal themed puzzle or memory matching activity where students have to add numbers up to 10. They solve simple addition equations on the animal body (match the head to the tail) and then find the matching answer card. For example, a turtle has a math problem on his first part of body 2+ and the rest of the problem on the tail part 3= and the students have to find the card with the correct answer of 5. Print on card stock, laminate for durability and use at a math center or small group teacher led instruction. Great for Kindergarten students or lower level first graders! This activity also comes with a worksheet very similar to the activity which can be used for additional practice or assessment.
