Increase your students math awareness and polish their computation skills. Students will practice addition skills with and without regrouping using two and three digit numbers. Can be used for guided or independent practice. Students will use the boards to make their own two and three digit numbers by rolling a dice, use number tiles, use a deck of cards, or write numbers using visa vi markers. Once the numbers are made, the students will add the two numbers together. For guided, independent , and partner practice, allow the students to build the numbers using their base ten manipulatives, next have them draw the number using pictures for each place values, and write the number in standard form.
Students will also learn how to write the steps for adding with regrouping.
