Addition facts practice game that is differentiated with sums from 12 to 20 and is based on Chutes and Ladders. This game can be used in small group, with partners, or as a math workstation.
I created 3 sets of rule cards to go along with the game that are differentiated by the number of rules and addition sums. For those students who struggle with basic facts to 12 and also with following directions, the black bordered rule card is used. These students use two 6 sided die and only have 5 game rules. The green bordered cards are for students who know some facts and need practice for speed. These students can either use two 6 sided die or one 6 sided die and one 10 sided die. The orange bordered cards are for students who need practice with upper addition facts to 20. These students use two 10 sided die. To play the game, students will need a copy of the game board and two die (either 6 sided or 10 sided) based on their level.
