These task cards were made to help students use adjective and adverb comparisons correctly. Included is a poster to help students understand the degrees of comparison (i.e. positive, comparative, and superlative).
The first set (PURPLE) of twelve cards underline an adjective or adverb in the sentence and ask students to choose the degree of comparison being used.
The second set (ORANGE) of twelve cards focus primarily on comparing irregular adjectives and adverbs.
The third set (PINK) of twelve cards focus solely on comparing adverbs.
The fourth set (YELLOW) encourages students to take on the task of writing with comparisons. They are told a specific adjective or adverb to use AND the degree of comparison to use. From there, they must form a sentence.
There are 48 task cards total! Answer recording sheets and answer keys are included.
