This is a simple activity to get kids speaking! Students are given cards with an English phrase and the translation in French. They circulate around the room, giving various people the phrase in English, their partner says it in French, and then the student says whether they were right or wrong. They then switch cards and continue on to the next person.
I love it because:
-KIDS are the ones who check the speaking/grammar of other kids
-it gets kids speaking!
-it's a good "filler" activity, as it can range from just 1 minute to 5 or more
-It's very easily adaptable into a writing activity! Instead of speaking, students can carry around notebooks or mini-white boards to write the phrase in French
-regular adjective placement
-BANGS adjective placement
-the rule about when BANGS adjectives are plural, DES becomes DE
-this activity mainly uses simple classroom vocabulary to fit the adjectives
