Product Description
I used this adjective journal with my Kindergarten class. The first day, I had them each choose their favorite color crayon. We graphed the results and they then wrote the color of their crayon in the journal to finish the sentence. We talked about using COLOR to describe objects. The next day, they each brought in an object from home and we talked about SIZE and using size words to describe objects. We sorted the objects by size and they then completed the sentence in their journal (ex: I brought in a "huge truck.") The following day, I brought in brown paper bags with different textured objects inside. We talked about using TEXTURE to describe objects. They reached in the bag and described the texture of the object. They then completed the sentence in their journals (ex: "In my brown bag, I found a fuzzy pom pom.") I hope you like the journal! As you can see, there is also white space on each page. I used this to allow them to draw the objects!
