Adjective maps are useful strategies for teaching vocabulary. They allow students to visualize a word’s meaning, increase retention of new concepts and reinforce understanding of the meaning.
Useful in addressing the following Common Core Standards;

At the center the word map is a noun or an adjective. The surrounding boxes or bubbles have related words.
