This is a great literacy station activity where students select a picture card and then have to find 3 words (adjectives) that describe the picture. For example, if a student selects a tennis ball, they have to find the words- round, green, and small. There are a variety of ways that this activity can be used! This activity comes with picture cards, word cards that have an adjective and a picture of the adjective (great for your non readers), and two worksheets! One worksheet students write 3 adjectives for each picture and the other worksheet they can draw or find their own picture (use a magazine) and write 3 adjectives for it. Print on card stock, laminate for durability, and place at a center for use! This is also a great activity for a small group teacher led lesson where word cards can be divided amongst group members and discussed and sorted together. The worksheets then can be used as an assessment piece.
